A bar looks great in a showroom, but the one that gets used every weekend is built around the appliances and habits you actually have — not a generic layout with a beverage fridge shoved in wherever it fits.

We start by talking through how you’ll use the space: do you want a beer fridge and an ice maker built in, a proper bar sink for rinsing glasses, or mostly open shelving to show off a bottle collection? From there we design cabinetry that fits your appliances exactly, with cutouts measured to the model you’re installing, not a rough guess.

Cabinets can be fully closed for a clean look, open on top for easy-reach glassware, or glass-fronted if you want the bottles on display. We build in LED lighting behind shelving on request, and every door and drawer gets soft-close hardware so nothing rattles during a party.

Countertops are handled by our own team too — quartz and granite both stand up well to spilled drinks and ice, and we’ll walk you through which finish suits your space before anything’s cut.

What Does a Custom Home Bar Actually Cost?

It depends on the size of the setup, how many appliances you’re building in, and the finish you choose. A small dry bar in a corner and a full basement wet bar with a fridge and sink aren’t the same job. We’ll give you a real number after seeing the space, during your free consultation.

Do You Handle the Plumbing for a Wet Bar?

We handle the cabinet-side plumbing hookup — connecting the sink once it’s set. If new water lines or drains need to be run to the space, we coordinate that with a licensed plumber as part of the project so it’s ready before install day.

Can You Build In a Wine Fridge or Ice Maker?

Yes. We measure the exact model you’re installing and cut the cabinet opening and ventilation to match, so the appliance sits flush instead of looking bolted on.

What's the Difference Between a Wet Bar and a Dry Bar?

A wet bar has a sink and running water, which usually means coordinating plumbing. A dry bar skips the sink and focuses on storage, a fridge, and counter space — simpler to install and often enough for how most people actually use the space.

Can You Fit a Bar Into a Small Basement Corner?

Yes — a lot of our bar projects are exactly that. Even a narrow run of cabinets along one wall can hold a fridge, storage and a usable counter if the layout is planned around the space you actually have.

What Countertop Holds Up Best Against Spills and Glasses?

Quartz is what we recommend most for bars — it resists staining from wine and spirits and doesn’t need sealing. Granite is a solid option too. We’ll talk through the trade-offs based on how the space will actually get used.

Do You Do Lighting for a Bottle Display?

Yes, LED strip lighting behind glass shelving or inside open cabinets is a common add-on. We build the wiring into the design so it looks clean, not tacked on after the cabinets are in.

What Kind of Warranty Comes With the Cabinetry?

We’ll go over the specific warranty terms for your material and hardware selections during your consultation, since it varies by finish. In general, workmanship issues found after install are our responsibility to fix.
