Most of our commercial work is pharmacies and medical clinics, so we’re used to the requirements that come with them — controlled-substance storage, sightlines between staff and patients, surfaces that hold up to constant sanitizing, and accessibility clearances that aren’t optional. The same discipline carries over to restaurants, salons, offices, showrooms, warehouses and retail stores, where the requirements are different but the standard doesn’t drop.

We work off whatever you’ve got — a pharmacy chain’s fit-out standards, a clinic’s layout requirements from a health authority, an architect’s drawing, or a designer’s concept for a restaurant or salon. Either way, nothing gets cut until there’s a proper shop drawing showing every dimension, sightline and material call-out, so what shows up on install day matches what was approved.

Dispensary and prescription counters are built with the staff-patient sightlines and secure storage a pharmacy actually needs. Exam room and treatment room casework is sized around the equipment going in it. For other commercial spaces, that same approach covers reception desks and service counters for offices and salons, retail display fixtures for stores and showrooms, and built-in storage and shelving sized to fit a warehouse or back-of-house exactly.

What Is Commercial Millwork, and Why Does It Matter for a Business?

Commercial millwork is the custom wood and laminate work built specifically for your space — counters, cabinetry, wall panelling, built-in storage — instead of pieced together from stock units. It matters because it’s usually the first thing a customer or patient touches, and it has to hold up to daily use while still looking like it was built into the space on purpose, not bolted on afterward.

What Types of Millwork Projects Do You Take On?

Can You Work From Drawings Our Architect or Designer Already Prepared?

Yes. We review the drawings for buildability, confirm dimensions on site, and flag anything that needs adjusting before fabrication starts. If there’s no drawing yet, we’ll measure the space ourselves and produce one before we order material.

Do You Handle Installation, or Just Fabrication?

Both. Our own installers put in what our own shop builds, and we coordinate with your general contractor or other trades so millwork fits into your build schedule instead of holding it up. We come back for a punch-list visit once the space is in daily use, too.

Can You Help With Design or Drafting, or Do We Need to Bring Our Own Plans?

We can start from scratch with you — walking the space, talking through what it needs to do, and drafting the shop drawing ourselves. If you already have fit-out standards from a pharmacy chain, a health authority, or your own designer, we’ll build to those directly instead.

What Materials Do You Use for Commercial Millwork?

Mostly plywood and MDF cores with high-pressure laminate, veneer or solid surface facing, depending on what the space needs. Non-porous, easy-to-sanitize surfaces for a clinic or dispensary, heavier-duty hardware for a warehouse, and finish options that match your brand where appearance matters most. We’ll walk through the trade-offs during your consultation.
